Joseph M Stejskal

In August of 2024, I saw an online request for a need for members of the Finance Committee. I applied and was accepted to be a member of the Finance Committee. I have enjoyed the experience of being a member of the Finance Committee and now I feel I can take my past knowledge from my banking background and the knowledge I have gained from my participation on the Finance Committee to take the next step and run for the Board of Directors.

My goal is to ensure that we will maintain a strong financial position, avoid unnecessary special assessments and ensure all residents have a great experience living in SaddleBrooke Two.

SaddleBrooke Two HOA Experience My wife Sara and I moved full time to SaddleBrooke Two in December of 2023 Unit 24, Lot 52. We have three adult children who live in Arizona, Colorado and Nebraska. We also have one lovely grandchild who is three years old. Sara and I enjoy living in SaddleBrooke Two and enjoy many of the fun activities this community provides, such as, water aerobics, golf, walking the great trails, enjoying a relaxing swim at our many pools and of course utilizing the great restaurants this community provides.

I am a member of the HOA2 Finance Committee and currently serve as the Secretary. In addition, I am the acting Chairman of the Finance Committee. I also serve on the Audit subcommittee and the Golf subcommittee.

Over the past nine months on the Finance Committee, I have worked with the Finance Committee members, Board of Directors and the Golf Committee to put together a plan which moved the planned Preserve Golf Course renovation from 2029 to 2031, thus preventing the residents from receiving a special assessment fee of $300 over the next four years.

Professional Experience Extensive financial experience with over 40+ years in the banking and manufacturing industries, with 30+ years as the Chief Financial Officer. As Chief Financial Officer, I had a strong background in directing all aspects of finance, accounting, and human resources functions within the banking and manufacturing industries.

Adept at developing and managing multi-million-dollar annual operating budgets, fostering and executing policies, and partnering with senior management and Boards of Directors to create and implement strategic visions, determine business direction and growth tactics, and execute new initiatives. I was a board member of the Nebraska Credit Union League, the trade association for all credits unions in the state of Nebraska.
