Since late 2018, I have watched our HOA transition from being owned and managed by Robson to a member-led active-adult community. This shift has brought new opportunities and challenges for our neighborhood. As our community has worked through various normal transition phases, we must put more focus on the member experience while driving operating excellence. My leadership and financial experience can help our community reduce unnecessary expenses and ensure our members an exceptional living experience. 

Professional Experience - Strong Leadership Skills with 30+years of innovative technical and business leadership in building, managing, and advising both commercial and federal businesses. Results-Oriented Business Leader with documented success in designing and deploying technical, operational, and consultative organizations. Financial Leadership Experience includes profit and loss responsibility for $100M+ business. 

  • 14 years as a healthcare executive implementing major congressional legislation.
  • 10+ years in numerous telecom executive positions in emerging Internet & satellite businesses.
  • 13 years in defense manufacturing specializing in building manufacturing facilities and international outsourcing operations.

Saddlebrooke HOA2 Experience My wife Tracy and I purchased our Saddlebrooke home in 2018 (Unit 43 Lot 26) and moved here full time in March 2021. We have two adult children who live in California and Colorado. We both enjoy being active members of the community—Tracy frequently uses the HOA’s exercise facilities and loves to play Mahjong and Samba, while I spend my free time playing golf, pickleball, and taking long walks. I am a member of the HOA2 finance committee and serve as the financial committee liaison to the golf committee. Accomplishments: 

  • Obtained HOA 2 Board approval to move the planned 2029 Preserve Golf Course Renovation to 2031 which eliminated the need for a special assessment of $300 per household annually for 4 years without impacting the golf experience.
  • Participated in Preserve Golf Course playability recommendation which could generate incremental revenue and improve our golfer’s experience.
  • Identified water-related issues to be addressed for accurate regulatory reporting and potential cost reductions.
